California privacy: CCPA / CPRA
California privacy rights, research data disclosures, and ways to request an opt-out.
Our California privacy approach
Our privacy program supports the CCPA, as amended by CPRA, for covered processing. Where applicable, business contact information can also be personal information. Rights and exceptions depend on the relevant information and activity.
Information categories include identifiers and contact details, account records, transaction information, internet or electronic activity, professional information, and research / AI inferences. The privacy notice describes sources, purposes, and recipient categories. You can request information about collection, use, disclosure, sale, or sharing, including the applicable reporting period.
Sale, sharing, and sensitive information
Paid access to identifiable contact or donor research may be a sale under California law, depending on the data and arrangement. Sharing has a specific meaning involving cross-context behavioral advertising. We provide a request path for the applicable sale / sharing opt-out and sensitive-information choices.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. No account, subscription, or identity verification is required for an opt-out. Provide only the contact detail or profile URL needed to locate your record; do not send government IDs.
You may also request a limit on qualifying uses of sensitive personal information. The statutory limit depends on the information and the actual purpose of use.
Requests, agents, and response periods
Where CCPA applies, you may request knowledge / access, correction, deletion, an opt-out of sale / sharing, and applicable sensitive-information limits, without unlawful discrimination. Prepare a request or email privacy@daanveda.com. Authorized agents may contact us; authority requirements depend on the request, and must not create an unnecessary barrier to an opt-out.
Applicable regulations generally require acknowledgement of access, correction, and deletion requests within 10 business days and a substantive response within 45 calendar days of receipt. A permitted extension of another 45 calendar days requires notice and reasons. Sale / sharing opt-outs and qualifying limit requests must be implemented as soon as feasibly possible, within 15 business days. These statutory periods do not mean a draft prepared on this website has been received.
Global Privacy Control and browser choices
Your privacy choices recognizes this browser’s Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and keeps optional appearance storage off when the signal is present. No optional analytics or advertising scripts are configured on this landing website.
Browser choices apply to this website. For information associated with a particular profile, account, or research record, contact privacy@daanveda.com or use the request builder. This additional request channel does not limit any obligation to honor applicable preference signals automatically.
Regulatory information
California Privacy Protection Agency: privacy rights · Current CCPA and Delete Act regulations.
Data-broker status, California registration, and Delete Act / DROP duties require a separate legal assessment of our research-data business. Publishing this page or providing a form does not satisfy those duties.
